With Perth being one of the most remote cities in the world, you may be wondering if there’s actually anything there. Lucky for us, Perth is loaded with a local foodie scene. Below, in no particular order, are 15 of the best brunch spots in Perth.

1. Isle of Voyage

Isle of Voyage is a restaurant, bar and outdoor dining mecca. This is the perfect place to enjoy incredible food with a view of Perth’s skyline that’s just as grand. For some extra fun, order one of their piping hot pizzas straight out of their outdoor pizza oven.

2. Tiisch


Tiisch is a cafe-bistro located on Hay Street and is described as “honest, uncomplicated but imaginative food, with an emphasis on locally sourced produce.” Their relaxed atmosphere is the perfect place to enjoy your afternoon coffee without compromising your wallet.

3. La Veen


La Veen is an aesthetic cafe nested in a heritage listed building that promises each guest a next level cafe experience. Their goal is to provide their customers with the highest quality products made from locally sourced ingredients.

4. Recess


Recess is located at the end of Barrack Street and is open Monday to Friday from 7:00AM- 3:00PM. With bright and spacious minimalist decor, this cafe welcomes all to stop by to try their soft serve ice cream or tasty coffee blends, especially between 7:00AM- 9:00AM, as it’s happy hour!

5. Holmes and Co


Holmes and Co is a family-owned and operated small bar and cafe open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snuggled in a laneway between Murray Street and Wolf Lane, Holmes and Co is keen to serve you the best coffee with the quirkiest vibe.

Panache is located on Mill Street and is home to some of the healthiest brunch around. Max + Sons is located on Williams Street and is one of the best ways to get a quick fix in the morning. They serve high quality coffee along with exquisite donuts ranging from flavors like dark chocolate to beetroot (Dwight Schrute would be in heaven here).

8. Bella Gina Cafe


Bella Gina Cafe has been around since 2005 and was well established by owners Chris and Jo Moorhouse, who have been waking up at 4:00AM for years in order to make this bakery what it is today. Stop by for some fresh sweets and strong coffee.

9. Mary Street Bakery


Mary Street Bakery has a few different locations and serves traditional breakfast items like smoothies, baked goods, and various egg dishes. It’s a great little spot to grab coffee or a treat to go.

10. Duotone Cafe


Duotone Cafe is located on Hay Street and they serve modern Australian breakfast with special diet options like vegetarian, vegan, paleo or dairy/gluten-free. One of their greatest passions is serving coffee and tea of the highest quality to enjoy with their locally-sourced meals.

11. Flora and Fauna


Flora and Fauna is located on Aberdeen Street and is a snug little cafe. You can find plenty of vegetarian or vegan options here along with fine teas and locally roasted coffee. Come for the aesthetics, stay for the yums.

12. Gordon Street Garage

Gordon Street Garage is exactly what it sounds like; it’s built inside of a former garage on Gordon Street with a backyard garden. This beautiful little place is a micro-roaster by day and a restaurant and wine bar by night. You won’t be disappointed.

West End Deli is a neighborhood bistro which has been around for about 8 years. This venue is described as rustic and homely, as many locals have found this to be their second home as the friendly, warm staff serves exciting, high quality dishes.

Hylin is also an intimate neighborhood cafe located in West Leederville. Their contemporary atmosphere is met with everything from acai bowls to pancakes to pulled pork tacos. This is your ultimate brunch destination to satisfy all cravings, whether they be sweet or savory.
